Android is a wonderful and widely used operating system. We’ve rounded up great features, hacks, and time-saving android tricks for you.

How much do you really know about your phone or tablet? Of course, you can make phone calls and send text messages. However, there is another feature that you are not aware of.

Let’s see what you can do together.

1. Enabling Developer Mode

  • Go to Settings on your phone.
  • Then go to About phone.
  • Tap your phone’s version number seven times in the menu that comes up.
  • A countdown starts on the screen, followed by a message that says “Congratulations, you are now a developer”.

2. Change Android Animation Speed

For the most part, the latest Android phones are already very fast. However, some older model phones only come with 4GB of RAM or even just 2GB.

One solution is to change your phone’s Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale from 1x to 0.5x. Sure, it won’t make your phone faster, but it will make it feel faster.

  • Go to Settings on your phone.
  • Then click on Additional Settings.

It’s annoying when a link is opened in a specific app and not in the browser. It could be a YouTube link, a tweet, or a Facebook page. It makes you wait while your phone closes Chrome and starts something else.

  • Go to Settings on your phone.
  • Then tap Apps & notifications
  • Select the application you want.
  • Tap on the Advanced option.
  • Scroll to Open by default and press
  • Then select Clear Defaults.
If the same situation persists, try to do the same with your browser application.

4. Quickly Change Your Wi-Fi Network

Do you know how to quickly switch between Wi-Fi networks? Sure, Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi You can go and change it there. But is there a faster way? Of course there is.
