The tree, which grows naturally in parts of New Guinea and Indonesia, except Australia today, loves the tropical climate. It is derived from the Greek words “eu” meaning “good” and “kalyptos” meaning “protected”.

Eucalyptus, which has been used in the treatment of various diseases for centuries, is also used in the furniture industry because it grows fast. Eucalyptus leaves are used in the production of medicines such as cough syrup and lozenges used in the treatment of cough and cold. Eucalyptus tea made from eucalyptus leaves also provides many benefits, especially when consumed in winter.

How to Drink Eucalyptus Tea?

Put 1-2 teaspoons of dried eucalyptus leaves in 1 glass of boiled water and let it brew for 10 minutes.
You can sweeten it with honey if you wish.

Points to be considered:
Excessive consumption of eucalyptus tea can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Therefore, it is not recommended to consume more than 2 glasses a day.
If you are preparing for asthma or bronchitis, if you add 1 gram of thyme leaves, the effect of your eucalyptus tea will increase.
