All Pixel 3 phones and newer will be able to use traffic accident detection in the Personal Safety app. This helps the app detect if you have had an accident, contact you, then ask for help and share your details if there is no response.

Next up on the list is using Quick Tap to access Snapchat directly from the lock screen, which is available for 5G and the newer Pixel 4a. Also included is a beta version of Conversation Mode, which uses machine learning to filter out background noise in noisy environments for clearer conversations.

As for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, it’s the same list of features followed by some. Both the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be able to use a digital car key, allowing compatible BMW owners to unlock and start their cars by tapping their phone in the right spots. Additionally, Pixel 6 Pro gets ultra-wideband access, allowing Nearby Share to send and receive files faster to other ultra-wideband devices.

New Pixel features are available for the Pixel 3a over the Pixel 5a and will continue over the next few weeks. The launch of the new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro updates will begin next week.
