In this article, we will tell you how to delete Swarm account. You may get bored of Swarm, the most popular check-in application in the world, have privacy concerns, or decide to delete your account with a decision you made with your girlfriend/boyfriend.
The Swarm application was developed as a sub-application of Foursquare. While Foursquare is a venue recommendation application, Swarm allows you to check in on venues and meet new people. If you want to delete your swarm account one day, you need to delete your Foursquare account. When you delete your Foursquare account, your Swarm account will also be deleted automatically.
- Click on the Foursquare account deletion link below to delete the Swarm account.
- On the account deletion page that opens, you will be asked why you want to delete your account. From here you can select the option I have a privacy concern.
- Then click the red Delete Account button at the bottom of the page.
- The application will ask you to re-enter your password for your security and in case someone else has access to your computer. Enter your password and click the Confirm button.
After these actions, your Swarm account will be deleted. The only thing to note here is that if you delete your account, all data will be deleted and this process cannot be undone.
NOTE: If you opened your Swarm account before Foursquare, if you do not have an email address and password, a password setting link will open at the bottom of the account deletion page. If you do not have your e-mail address, you will be provided to enter your e-mail address.
