YouTube and Snapchat Collaboration Coming!

Founded in 2011, Snapchat is one of the most used social media platforms. In 2020, the Snapchat platform enabled users to add tweets to their posts. Now, by improving this feature, it offers the feature of adding videos from YouTube to the posts.

Thanks to the new feature in question, users will add the link to their stories by tapping the Snapchat icon under the video while sharing on YouTube. The new feature will pave the way for direct sharing instead of sending additional links in messages. In addition, the platform made the following statement on the subject:

“With this new integration, we’re making it easier than ever for viewers to post their favorite clips and videos to where they’re talking to friends on Snapchat. This is the first time YouTube links can be shared visually with Snapchat Stories and one-on-one stories, while also accessing the camera and the full suite of Snapchat Creative Tools for self-expression.”

To add YouTube tags to Snapchat stories, which is the new feature, users need to follow these steps:

  • Open the YouTube app and select a video.
  • Tap “Share” and then tap “Snapchat” icon to automatically jump to Snapchat Camera.
  • Create an original Snap with automatic YouTube sticker and use any of our creative tools.
  • Tap the YouTube sticker to view the video in the YouTube app or default mobile browser.

So what do you think about this new feature? Also, do you use the Snapchat platform? Are you considering using the new feature? In addition, you can share your thoughts with us and other readers by commenting below.
